Donations are now being collected at a new Priced Out PayPal account, at donations@pricedout.org.uk.  Priced Out is entirely funded from volunteers' own pockets.  We receive no financial support from any outside organisations.  (We do try to claim travel expenses from the media for interviews.)

Ongoing website hosting charges, administration, phone calls with the press, travelling expenses for press interviews and production of publicity materials are just some of the costs that volunteers have funded.

We'll be posting ideas on this page for what we plan to do with donated money, and if the money really starts pouring in we may reimburse our volunteers for costs they've already incurred.

For example:

• At the Brighton protest on 13th May, a Priced Out banner cost £85 to produce, funded by our committee member who organised the protest.  The visual impact of the banner was huge and it was worth every penny to get our campaign noticed by the media.  We also hope to be taking the banner to other events in the future.  If you'd like to contribute to this cost it would be more than welcome.

• We're investigating the possibility of advertising the campaign in a national newspaper.  A small black and white ad could cost a few hundred pounds to place, but would go a long way to raise awareness of the campaign and what we're calling on the government to do about house price inflation.
