Tell Harrow Council to grant planning permission for the “Tesco Towers”
We are calling on Harrow Council to grant planning permission for 559 news homes on the Tesco site on Station Road in central Harrow.
Notting Hill Genesis are proposing to build 559 new flats across ten blocks, including approximately 55 social homes, and around 120 shared-ownership properties for those middle incomes.
This scheme will:
- Ease London’s desperate housing crisis by providing many new homes across all tenures
- Reduce traffic and pollution in London by providing transport accessible, environmentally friendly homes
The Harrow Green Party are campaigning to prevent these much-needed new homes because they argue that the scheme will see an unacceptable loss of ‘parking spaces for Tesco customers’. Two-thirds of parking spaces at the Tesco site will remain.
London has chronic undersupply of new homes. We understand that densification of our urban areas is essential for fighting our homelessness crisis, and our climate crisis.
At PricedOut, we believe that homes are more important than car parks.
Please sign our position to call on Harrow Council to grant permission for the Tesco Towers.
